Nature is amazing. If you give her an inch, she'll take a mile. I'm curious what kind of seed this is that took up residence in a little niche in my front porch. (I hope it's not a hackberry tree.)

The chickens are back to work. Wow, the number of hours in the day increases to some magical level and BANG - here come the eggs. Every year it amazes me.

And two new spinners have persevered past the frustration of fiber and spindle, and both went home with some lovely yarn this evening. Here Laura concentrates while she drafts.

Cynthia got into a happy groove, and worked as far as her arms would take her. The lightbulb went on for both of these new fiberistas, and this is just the beginning of the fun. I love the "aha!" moment.

When we push through the obstacles and the frustration, and stick to what we know to do, we will make it to the land of Accomplishment, where sweat is replaced by lovely coasting downhill. I think both of these ladies were wondering, "when do we get to the relaxing part?"

Before you know it, friends. Trust me. You'll be there soon.
